Village Budget

The Budget for the Village of Waterford is a product of cooperation between departments, elected officials, and staff to develop a budget that meets resident and business expectations for services, while maintaining fiscal restraints. Department managers are responsible for planning for capital expenditures for needs such as updated or replacement of equipment, roadways, infrastructure, parks, facilities, etc. A ten-year plan on capital expenditures was implemented in 2014 and managers are responsible for updating that plan annually as well as incorporating it into their yearly budgets so the Village can prepare for appropriating funds when the need arises.
