Hess Wins Trustee Seat in Special Election

Brent Hess will be sworn in at the November 27th Village Board meeting following his win at the polls on Tuesday. Hess collected 68 of the 156 ballots cast. Candidates Troy McReynolds had 47, followed by Eric Vogel with 37. Three voters cast write-in ballots. There was one undervote.

When another seat on the board was vacated. McReynolds was appointed after he had already filed papers to run in the special election. The Board includes Don Houston, serving as acting president, Andy Ewert, Brent Hess, Kathy Nargis, Tamara Pollnow, Troy McReynolds. A special election will be included in the spring election for president.
